Kicking off Resilience Magazines

In December at East we kicked off the Resilience Magazine projects by interviewing students and faculty who faced adversity. We heard inspiring stories about perseverance. Our students impressed us with their leadership, inquiry, and respect. Before winter break, students completed a draft of their article for the magazine. We will revise the articles and work on magazine production when we return to school in January. Students also elected to take on leadership roles for the magazines as editors, marketers, designers, and artists. We can't wait to continue this work.
